I got a new spot in the salon today! :) I was in the middle section, with my basics class, and 3 girls from the class before ours. They keep the "newbies" in the middle section, where the instructors can see them at all times, and get to them quickly, when needed. I'm being moved to a more secluded area, where 2 of my closest friends from school currently reside. The president of the school (but I just call her Mama Deb) wanted me to have some "hard-earned freedom" and spend time with the girls that I enjoyed being around.
My previous group....let's just say their mamas didn't raise them to be respectful of others (including their elders), and they run their mouthes like a bunch of dirty sailors...my tender ears just can't handle that. And I'm tired of having to shush them when I have a client in my chair, and they don't filter themselves. AND...my hair supplies have been coming up missing after I've left my station unattended. Hmmm....I wonder why? I'm looking forward to spending the day in my new spot tomorrow, and hopefully not having to deal with the backlash my old group is sure to give me. :(

YAY! You deserve it. Look at the perm counts go down. Way to rock this new endeavor in your life.
