New Year

What have we been up to the past 2 weeks? Well....there was some Hawkeye basketball (my big critter's Christmas request) and we got to meet the players too!

 My kitty took a nap on me while I tried to study...  


 I got the mohawk I've ALWAYS wanted, from the lovely Liz!!

 Everybody said it didn't look like me - it was too "rocker girl" for this mom....I told them to buzz off, because I was in LOVE with it! :) 
  
And what else? Oh, that's right...2 weeks of chemistry classes - something I've NEVER taken before, and was therefore terrified of. Would you look at that test score!!!


I was so proud, I sent that picture to my mom about 30 seconds after I got it :) I don't think she hung it on her fridge, but I'm sure she told a few people ;)


I also did 9 perms on 1 manikin head...that's a great way to start the year! :)


And 1 more little thing - I got my first job offer :) It's top secret, because I have SIX MONTHS left of school, and I need to be really smart about this. And I said it was my "first" offer, because I intend to keep looking around and get more! ;) Boy it feels great to have an option though!!
